Oceanus Overview

Oceanus Environment

Under the domain of her uncle Poseidon, Melinoe must make her way through the briny depths of Oceanus to get to the domain of her father, Hades.

Oceanus is filled to the brim with pipe systems and pressurized water storages and outlets that Melinoe can use against enemies for Terrain Kills. However, be careful as these traps can damage and kill Melinoe as well, so exercise caution!

These are all the resources unique to Oceanus. Make sure not to miss collecting them with Gathering Tools if you need them for incantations and other recipes!

Narcissus

Narcissus is the Allied NPC that Melinoe can encounter while running through Oceanus. When interacted with, he offers Melinoe a random assortment of resources, Gold Crowns, Health, Magick, or a random Boon.

Guardian of Oceanus, Scylla

Taking residence in Oceanus, Syclla holds her concerts with two sirens, Jetty and Roxy. Melinoe must survive from their deadly musical attacks before she can proceed to the Fields of Mourning.

Deep Serpent

Deep Serpents are one of the two minibosses that Melinoe can encounter in Oceanus. Defeat the four Sop-Spindles that spawn with it and break its armor as soon as you can to avoid getting overwhelmed with projectiles and area of effect attacks!

Warden of Oceanus, King Vermin

King Vermin

Reminiscent of the Tiny Vermin miniboss for Styx in Hades 1, King Vermin, also encountered as Uh-Oh, is the second miniboss Melinoe can encounter in Oceanus. King Vermin's room is filled with many traps and area of effect attacks from Wretched Pests, so keep an eye on King Vermin to avoid getting surprised by its attacks!

These are all the enemies you may encounter in Oceanus. They have a tendency to either swarm you or deny space with projectiles or area of effect attacks.

We recommend to keep moving and make good use of your Cast to snare groups of enemies that charge at you!
