How to Unlock Toula as a Familiar

Pet Toula in the Underworld Glades

Toula will first appear while you traverse through rooms in Erebus. There, you will be able to pet her as an interaction. Once you have come across her and pet her enough times, she will inevitably disappear from the glades, but this won't be the last you will see of the cat.

Bond with Toula at the Surface Docks

Toula will reappear and be available to bond with by the docks at the Rift of Thessaly once you have passed the City of Ephyra and defeated Polyphemus.

In order to bond with Toula, ensure that you have a stock of Witch's Delight, and proceed to feed it to her.

How to Get Animal Familiars

Heart Bond	Death Defiance effects from Toula restore an additional +10 Life.	Death Defiance effects from Toula restore an additional +20 Life.	Death Defiance effects from Toula restore an additional +30 Life.
Soul Bond	While together, have a 25% chance to manifest Fishing Points.	While together, have a 50% chance to manifest Fishing Points.	While together, have a 75% chance to manifest Fishing Points.
Claw Bond	Toula strikes +1 time before losing interest.	Toula strikes +2 time before losing interest.	Toula strikes +3 time before losing interest.

Toula's abilities grant you additional Life points for each usage of death defiance much like a cat with nine lives, will attack enemies with her claws when prompted, and catch bonus fish for you.

Attacks When Sprinted Into

As cats are usually seen as aloof creatures that follow the beat of their own drum, Toula's attacks follow a similar pattern where she will attack the nearest enemy she sees with her claws when sprinted into, and go back into a curled position unless prompted again.

Automatically Catch Fish Using Toula

You can also head towards a Fishing Point and hit the interact button to have Toula catch a Fish for you without playing the minigame. This enables you to catch fishes automatically so you could exchange them for Bones.

Toula is a stray cat that you can meet and interact with across different locations. Unlike Frinos, she is nomadic and free-spirited, but will be very loyal to Melinoe as a Familiar.
