| Oceanus | Second Region for the Underworld Under Poseidon's domain, aquatic enemies block your path to the Fields of Mourning |
| Fields of Mourning | Third Region of the Underworld Rampant daemons run amok outside Tartarus. |
| Asphodel | Location encountered in Oceanus The Lord of Time might attempt to imprison you in the burning meadows of Asphodel |
| Tartarus | Fourth Region of the Underworld Armies of the Lord of Time aim to wear you down en route to the House of Hades |
Hades 2 features 4 regions in the Underworld for Melinoe to explore. While Melinoe might get transported to Asphodel, it can only be considered as an extra location to escape from when Chronos interferes in Oceanus.

| Rift of Thessaly | Second Region for the Surface Reanimated sailors in boats are heading towards the base of Mount Olympus |
With only 2 regions as of early access, the Surface in Hades 2 is planned to have more regions as Supergiant rolls out more updates for the game.
Starting in Erebus for the Underworld and the City of Ephyra for the Surface, you must beat a region's encounters and Guardian to progress towards the next Region.
Each region has its own host of enemies and challenges, so arm Melinoe as much as you can through the Altar of Ashes, Keepsakes, and your favorite Weapon and Familiar before heading out!
