Minor Finds can be determined by their item borders each time you enter a room. Borders with green tassels are considered to be Minor Finds as indicated by Poseidon's Boon Double Up which grants you a set chance percentage of receiving double the amount of Minor Find items.
Major Finds are classified as Room Rewards whose borders do not bear green tassels. They are simply indicated by a silver border and are unaffected by the conditions of Double Up unlike its counterpart.
Similar to the first Hades game, coming across a room that bears the sigil of two gods will grant you Boons from each of those gods.
However, do keep in mind that you will be forced to choose only one god and select a Boon from them before the encounter begins, which will anger the other god, and set an additional difficulty on top of the room's encounter. After you successfully survive this encounter, the angered god will offer you one of their Boons.
After clearing encounters in Oceanus, you might be presented with only one room to pick while the others are locked. You have the option to unlock these rooms and see the rewards that they offer by unlocking them one by one, although doing this will spawn armored enemies that you have to defeat for every room you unlock.
Certain rooms in Fields of Mourning can sometimes offer two rewards by clearing encounters within them. Choose these rooms with caution as double the rewards mean double the herd of enemies.
Smaller versions of items have a chance of appearing in Fields of Mourning in addition to the established Room Rewards. These offer an equally smaller enhancement compared to its original-sized counterpart, like the small Centaur Heart which only grants you a Max Health upgrade of 5 instead of 25.
Sometimes, a room in the City of Ephyra may offer a doubled version of a consumable, like a double Soul Tonic, which grants you a doubled Max Magick upgrade of 60 from the regular 30.
While exploring rooms in the City of Ephyra, you may come across a door (or multiple) illuminated by a golden light that open up once you have cleared the encounter. Entering these rooms is completely optional, but will give you an extra randomized reward after you clear the enemies that reside within them.
Guardian | Reward |
---|---|
Hecate | |
Scylla and The Sirens | |
Cerberus | |
Polyphemus | TBD |
Eris | TBD |
These are all the rewards gained from various Guardians that you might encounter in your runs. One of these, the Cinder acquired from defeating Hecate, is considered a Minor Find which only means that it has a chance to drop double the resource if you have the Boon Double Up from Poseidon.
