What Does Resilience Do?

Raw Defence Stat

Resilience is the character's raw Defensive Stat, without taking into account the Defence boost received from Armor.

Unlike Defence that can only be increased with Armor Pieces, Resilience can be increased by leveling up and through Vocations.

How to Increase Resilience

Level Up

Character Level Up.png

Resilience automatically increases as your characters Level Up.

Defeat enemies in combat and obtain EXP to level up your characters and further increase their stats!

Use Seed of Resilience

Seed of Resilience Icon

Using a Seed of Resilience will also increase a character's base Resilience, allowing you to increase a character's Resilience stat without requiring you to Level them up.

Using Seeds, however, adjusts the base stat gain on Level up, reducing the amount of base HP your character gains per level up if their HP is already too high from seeds.

Vocation Stat Change

Vocations

Depending on your character's Vocation, they can also receive additional Resilience, raising it by a certain percentage.

Keep in mind, however that some Vocations decrease Resilience such as the Mage Vocation.
