What Does Attack Do?

Increase Damage of Physical Attacks

Attack determines how much damage your character deals with physical attacks. It's calculated along with their Strength stat, making both important for maximizing damage output.

This stat does not affect the power of skills.

Equip Stronger Weapons

Attack can be raised through Weapons equipped by your character.

Stronger weapons can be found as you progress the story, as rewards from quests, or found as loot.

Vocations

Depending on your character's Vocation, they can also receive additional Attacks, raising it by a certain percentage.

Keep in mind, however that some Vocations decrease Attack such as the Mage Vocation.
