1 Speak with the Soldier in the Outskirts
Speak with the Soldier in the Outskirts
Head down the camp in the outskirts and talk to the soldiers there. They will ask you to rescue a soldier in a Black Bear base.
2 Infiltrate the Black Bears' Base
Black Bear Elite Enemy
Exit the camp and head to the Black Bears' Base. You will encounter a lot of Black Bear soldiers, and it helps to thin out the horde on the way to fight the strong Black Bear Captain at the base. The base itself is heavily guarded, so try not to get surrounded.

Once the lessser enemies are thinned out, defeat the Black Bear Captain wielding a hammer to progress. Whistling Arrows to call in AoE canon fire where you shoot the arrow are excellent here.

His hammer deals heavy damage, so be prepared to dodge when he jumps in the air to strike.
3 Rescue the Captives
After defeating the Black Bear Captain, the game automatically transitions to a cutscene where you rescue the captive guards.

In Ashes Rewards
