| What Kind of Character Are They? | ・Princesses' Edge has built-in Preempt Pulse, inflicts Discord, Spd Shackle, and Def Shackle onto multiple foes, grants Fir bonus stats, bonus uncapped true damage, true damage reduction, a Null Follow-Up effect, and Special cooldown charges per attack. ・Harmonized Skill grants Resonance Blades and Special cooldown count -2 to Fir and allies from similar titles and also allows a second use of once-per-turn effects on Specials. |
|
Might: 16 Range: 1 Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). At start of turn, grants Special cooldown count-2 to unit. At start of turn and after unit acts (if Canto triggers, after Canto), inflicts Spd/Def-7, 【Discord】,【Spd Shackle】, and 【Def Shackle】 on closest foes and foes within 2 spaces of those foes through their next actions. If unit initiates combat or is within 2 spaces of an ally, grants bonus to unit's Atk/Spd/Def/Res = number of allies within 3 rows or 3 columns centered on unit × 3, + 5 (max 14), unit deals +X × 3 damage (excluding area-of-effect Specials; X = number of Bonus effects and Penalty effects active on target and foes within 2 spaces of target, excluding stat bonuses and stat penalties), reduces damage from foe's attacks by 20% of unit's Spd (excluding area- of-effect Specials), neutralizes effects that guarantee foe's follow-up attacks and effects that prevent unit's follow-up attacks, and grants Special cooldown charge +1 to unit per attack during combat (only highest value applied; does not stack). |
|
Cooldown Count = 5 If unit initiates combat, when unit's Special triggers, grants another action to unit after combat (once per turn). If unit initiates combat, reduces damage from foe's attacks by 40% during combat (excluding area-of-effect Specials). |
|
Enables 【Canto (2)】. If unit initiates combat or is within 2 spaces of an ally, grants Atk/Spd+8 to unit, unit deals +X damage (excluding area-of-effect Specials), and reduces damage from foe's first attack by X during combat (X = number of allies within 3 rows or 3 columns centered on unit x 2, + 2; max 8; "first attack" normally means only the first strike; for effects that grant "unit attacks twice," it means the first and second strikes). |
|
If unit initiates combat or is within 2 spaces of an ally, inflicts Spd/Def-4 on foe, deals damage = 20% of the greater of unit's Spd or Def (excluding area-of-effect Specials), and reduces the percentage of foe's non-Special "reduce damage by X%" skills by 50% during combat (excluding area-of-effect Specials), and also, if decreasing the Spd difference necessary to make a follow-up attack by 25 would allow unit to trigger a follow-up attack (excluding guaranteed or prevented follow-ups), triggers 【Potent Follow X%】 during combat (if unit cannot perform follow-up and attack twice, X = 80; otherwise, X = 40). |
|
At start of turn, if unit is within 2 spaces of an ally, grants Atk/Spd+6 and "neutralizes foe's bonuses during combat" to unit and allies within 2 spaces of unit for 1 turn. Grants bonus to unit's Atk/Spd = number of allies on the map with the "neutralizes foe's bonuses during combat" status effect active + 2 (excluding unit; max 5) and deals damage = number of spaces from start position to end position of whoever initiated combat × 2 during combat (max 8; excluding area-of-effect Specials). |
| Harmonized Skill |
|---|
| Grants 【Resonance: Blades】 to unit and allies from the same titles as unit for 1 turn and grants Special cooldown count-2 to unit and allies from the same titles as unit. Any effect that can be triggered only once per turn by unit's equipped Special skill can be triggered again if that effect has already been triggered (excludes boosted Special effects from engaging). (Harmonized Skills can be used by tapping the Harmonized button. Harmonized Skills cannot be used by units deployed using Pair Up.) |

When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Ferox Fir are +Spd and -Res. Ferox Fir's base 49 Spd, raised to 53 with a superboon, is among the highest in the game. This allows her to outspeed her foes and generate follow-up attacks while also preventing follow-up attacks against other speedy foes.
With how hard Ferox Fir can attack using her uncapped true damage, boosting Spd to generate follow-up attacks is the best use of her IVs.
Res is Ferox Fir's least important stat and can be safely taken as a bane as it won't impact any of her matchups.
We recommend +Spd when merging Ferox Fir up to +10 to ensure she retains her Spd edge against the metagame.

Ferox Fir makes great use of Emblem Sigurd ring despite it being somewhat redundant with Blue Skies 4, mostly for its increased movement effect. The rest of her kit is geared towards maximum damage.

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
Ferox Fir is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.
Ferox's Fir's exclusive weapon Princesses' Edge grants multiple effects that heavily swing combat in her favor. Below is a table of these effects:
| Condition(s) | Effect |
|---|---|
| Always | Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1) |
| At start of turn | Grants Special cooldown count -2 to Ferox Fir |
| At start of turn and after unit acts | Inflicts Spd/Def-7, 【Discord】,【Spd Shackle】, and 【Def Shackle】 on closest foes and foes within 2 spaces of those foes |
| Ferox Fir initiates combat OR Ferox Fir is within 2 spaces of an ally |
Grants Ferox Fir up to Atk/Spd/Def/Res+14 (based on allies within 3 rows or 3 columns) |
| Ferox Fir initiates combat OR Ferox Fir is within 2 spaces of an ally |
Grants Ferox Fir bonus true damage equal to thrice the number of non-stat Bonus and Penalty effects active on target foe and foes within 2 spaces of target |
| Ferox Fir initiates combat OR Ferox Fir is within 2 spaces of an ally |
Grants Ferox Fir bonus true damage reduction equal to 20% of her Spd |
| Ferox Fir initiates combat OR Ferox Fir is within 2 spaces of an ally |
Grants Ferox Fir a Null Follow-Up effect |
| Ferox Fir initiates combat OR Ferox Fir is within 2 spaces of an ally |
Grants Ferox Fir Special cooldown charge +1 per attack |
The bonus true damage effect from Princesses' Edge is uncapped. This means that more and more true damage can be added into each attack as more Bonuses and Penalties are applied.
In today's metagame, stacking Bonus and Penalty effects is very common, with units having around 7 to 10 effects active quite often. It is not absurd to have Ferox Fir hitting just as hard as, if not even harder than Young Camilla, who was the premiere nuke unit in the game before Fir's release.
Ferox Fir's Harmonized Skill grants 【Resonance: Blades】 and Special cooldown count -2 to Ferox Fir and allies from similar titles.
Additionally, any effect that can be triggered only once per turn by unit's equipped Special skill can be triggered again if that effect has already been triggered. This includes effects like the once-per-turn 40% damage reduction effect on various Specials like Armored Blaze, or more notably, Galeforce and Galeforce Mist.
Timing is key when using this Harmonized Skill. Players need to use this before actually triggering the Special skill in order for the effect to trigger a second time.
Ferox Fir takes 1.5x damage from cavalry-effective weapons like Thani or Binding Reginleif, and one blow from this type of weapon will deal significant damage. Make sure you know what weapons you are up against before hopping too far into the line of battle!

Ferox Fir has Galeforce Mist, Blue Skies 4, Potent Assault, and A/S Outcry Dull as inheritable options.
Prioritize Galeforce Mist and either Blue Skies 4 or Potent Assault when using Fir for inheritance. However, Fir is a very strong hero. Consider keeping her for your barracks.
