What Are Unlock Potential Materials?

Unlock potential materials are items that you can use to raise your unit's rarity.

You can raise a 3★ to a 4★, and then a 4★ to a 5★.

There are three types of materials that you will need to unlock a unit's potential, and you will need a certain number of each.

Required Materials to Unlock Potential

Rarity Unlock Potential Materials Required
3★ to 4★ Badge: 20
Hero Feathers: 2,000
4★ to 5★ Great Badge: 20
Hero Feathers: 20,000

Remember that you should have the right amount of badges for the color of the unit you're promoting!

As shown here, you will need 20 Great Azure Badge in order to promote Winter Felix from a 4★ to 5★.

Where to Get Unlock Potential Materials

How to Get Badges

Badges and Great Badges can be obtained through the Training Tower.

Badges are obtained by clearing Stratums 1-5, while Great Badges are obtained by clearing Stratums 6-10.

How to Get Hero Feathers

There are four ways to get Hero Feathers:

  • Greeting friends
  • Playing in the arena
  • Sending units home
  • Hero Merit
