Stat | Superboon/Superbane | IV Recommendation |
---|---|---|
HP (20) | ★★★☆☆ | |
Atk (24) | ★★★★★ | |
Spd (4) | ★★★☆☆ | |
Def (11) | ★★★★☆ | |
Res (6) | ★★☆☆☆ |
◯ = Stat gains +4 with a superboon, ✕= Stat goes down by -4 with a superbane, - = No assets or flaws
See the IV Checker for All Units | Trait Fruits—How to Change IVs |
When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
As a hero obtainable only through Tempest Trials, Spring Bartre will always have neutral IVs by default. The only way to access IVs for this unit is through using Trait Fruits.
The best IVs for Spring Bartre are +Atk and -HP. He relies on heavy-hitting, single-hit attacks to take out foes instead of follow-up attacks so a +Atk IV is best in increasing his damage. Additionally, it is a superboon so you should take advantage of it as much as possible. His Res is of less importance so it can be safely taken as a bane.
We recommend a +Atk IV when merging Spring Bartre to 10. With +10 merges, Spring Bartre's Atk stat will reach 62 if you trigger his weapon skill effect. This allows Bartre to take out lots of foes with a single hit.

Fury 4

This build uses the recoil from Fury 4 to activate Desperation and allow consecutive attacks for future engagements. Make sure to keep the unit alive after the first combat since they will be in exploitable HP ranges! Since Spring Bartre's Spd isn't reliable enough to consistently score follow-up attacks, you need to rely on a skill like Brash Assault 3 to open up opportunities for follow-up attacks. It is worth noting that this built is viable in both phases of battle.

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
Spring Bartre is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage he deals will be equivalent to his Atk minus the foe's Def stat.
S!Bartre's weapon skill Carrot Cudgel+ will give him Atk/Def+5 and neutralize any active penalties on those stats if he has an ally within two spaces. This skill's effect is easy to trigger and very useful when you intend to keep him close by his allies.
Thanks to Odd Atk Wave, Bartre and his allies will gain Atk+6 at the start of odd-numbered turns. When combined with his weapon skill effect, he will gain a total bonus of Atk+11, making him a pretty strong physical attacker. This skill is excellent for support as well, meaning that you could keep Bartre on the team to buff his teammates!
While Bartre is a pretty strong physical attacker, he suffers from both poor Res and Spd stats. This means that a speedy mage foe will have a very easy time OHKOing him, so be sure and keep him at a safe distance from this kind of enemy.
Should You Unlock Potential for this Hero? |
---|
We recommend that you use Unlock Potential to bring Bartre - Earsome Warrior from 4 Stars to 5 Stars. Bartre - Earsome Warrior is very useful as a tanky attacker, so you may find using Unlock Potential on Bartre - Earsome Warrior helpful if your team lacks a party member with this role.

S!Bartre can be used as fodder to inherit Odd Atk Wave 3. However, since Bartre can only be obtained through Tempest Trials, the amount of duplicates you can get are limited, so think hard about who you want to pass these skills to.
Spring Bartre is a limited time Hero who can be obtained as a reward for your score in the Tempest Trials. They do not appear in regular summons. After the event has ended, they can be obtained by using Heroic Grails.
