The best IVs for Saizo are +Spd and -Res. A higher Spd stat allows Saizo to deal with less follow-up attacks from foes, increasing his survivability. It also improves his ability to score follow-up attacks. His Res is of less importance to him so it can be easily taken as his bane.

How to Use, Explanation

This is a build that uses Saizo's weapon refine to turn him into a debuffer. Close Reversal allows him to counterattack regardless of range, while 2 Smoke skills will activate his weapon's effect.

We recommend the Special Effect Refine for Saizo's Star

Saizo's Star allows Saizo to shine in debuff-heavy teams. This is a must get if you plan to run Saizo with units like Yune and Fallen Corrin (F) who have powerful easy-to-apply debuffs.

If you do not plan to run Saizo in said teams, he can take full advantage of Saizo's Star through our Refined - Windsweep build. He will bait physical attacks in the enemy phase to apply debuffs to the attacking unit. In the next player phase, he swoops in towards the debuffed units with a huge buff from Saizo's Star!

Smoke Dagger+ can also be upgraded, but of course Saizo's Star is superior.
