What is Dueling?

New Mechanic in the Half Anniversary

Dueling is a new mechanic that was introduced in the Balance Adjustments (November 11, 2025) update for the Global Version. This was released during the Half Anniversary event.

The Dueling system is part of the Guts rework update and is connected to racers challenging each other for better positioning in the late-race.

How to Activate Dueling

Occurs During the Final Straight

Conditions
・During the Final Straight
・Can occur with any 2 or more racers
・Racers must be near each other
・Racers must have similar speeds with each other
・Must have enough remaining Stamina to compete

The Dueling system activates in the final straight of a race track when multiple racers challenge each other for better positioning. This can be activated by any two or more racers that are nearby each other and have similar speeds. During a duel, Stamina consumption is increased.

The contention gives racers additional Speed and Acceleration based on how much Guts they have. Participants who lack the Stamina during this time will forfeit the duel.

Guts are the primary focus for the Dueling system, as it affects how much extra Speed and Acceleration participants get during the contest. Train more Guts with Support Cards like Ines Fujin, Haru Urara, and Mejiro Palmer to increase the chances of winning.
