Warzone 2.0 - Downed Phase Bug Banner

Players are reporting an issue concerning the skipping of the downed phase status, leading to players being instantly killed instead of being downed in Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0. Read on to learn about the downed phase bug, and all developer updates regarding fixes to the known issue.

What is the Downed Phase Bug?

Skips the Downed Status Leading to Instant Deaths

Warzone 2.0 - Downed Phase Mechanic Ignored

Players are instantly killed instead of going through the downed status after losing all their health. Typically players are put in the 'downed' state first once their health is completely drained and must be revived by a teammate to get back up in the fight.

Unfortunately, this is not the case, as players are immediately sent to their deaths instead of being incapacitated.

Upcoming Fixes to the Bug

Fixed in the November 22 Patch

This bug was addressed by Infinity Ward and fixed in the Season 1 November 22 patch, so this issue shouldn't appear anymore.
