How to Get Chimera

The Chimera Assault Rifle, previously a campaign-only weapon used by Ghost, is now obtainable in the game! You can get it by extracting its weapon case on DMZ Building 21 or getting two Operator Kills on 15 separate matches in Multiplayer.

How to Play

This loadout for the Chimera assault rifle is a run and gun setup that finds high value in small-scall game modes such as Team Deathmatch, Hardpoint, or Domination.

While the Chimera AR boasts impressive numbers in terms of damage output and fire rate, it does fall behind in terms of range. This limits its accuracy in long-range encounters which is why attachments such as the Bruen Flash Grip and Ravage-8 are equipped to maximize its accuracy in short to mid range gunfights.

The player is recommended to go for early flanks by utilizing a Smoke Grenade and clear out buildings with the highly reliable Drill Charge. Getting behind enemy lines will be made easier with the Double Time and Quick Fix perks, allowing the player to capitalize off of the improved sprint to fire speed for the Chimera.
