Prison Break has Soap start off with a suppressed EBR-14 and a modified X12 handgun that has both a suppressor and a red dot sight.

Prison Break Realism Difficulty Video Playthrough

Walkthrough

1	Follow Ghost and Rodolfo as they make their way to the outskirts of the Shadow Company prison.
2	Take out the 2 guards on top of the tower. Pick one and Ghost will take out the other.
3	Wait for Ghost's command. When he gives the order, kill the guard with the cap while he takes out the other.
4	Again, wait for ghost to get into position. Line up your shot on the last 2 guards to clear the outside perimeter.
5	Use the ascender to climb the rope and enter the tower.
6	Follow Ghost down the ladder and out into the courtyard. He will take you to the door leading into the surveillance room.
7	Draw your sidearm (X12). Kill the 2 camera operators and take over their positions.
8	Guide Ghost through the prison compound. Have him kill guards, cause distractions, and sabotage vehicles. The goal is to plant C4 inside 4 vehicles inside the compound. Complete this segment under 4 minutes to get the No Time to Lose achievement.
9	Once the C4 charges are set, regroup with Ghost and Rodolfo at the cell block entrance. Kill the 4 guards blocking your way in.
10	Knock on the cell block doors and watch as Rodolfo opens the way forward. Clear out the guards while making your way to Alejandro's cell at the 2nd floor.
11	Free Alejandro from his cell.
12	Go upstairs to liberate the Los Vaqueros. Use Molotovs on the riot shield enemies to make quick work of them.
13	Use the terminal to open the cell block doors and free Alejandro's men. Also, make sure to reload and re-arm using the refills near said terminal.
14	Descend into the canteen block. Kill all Shadow Company mercenaries that enter the area.
15	Regroup with Alejandro, Rodolfo, and Ghost. Fight your way through the multiple courtyards in order to get to the prison wall. During this long shootout sequence, you can detonate the C4 charges planted by Ghost earlier to turn the tide of battle.
16	At the final courtyard, hold off the enemies until Price comes to rescue you by shooting down the enemy helicopter.
17	Go up the wall and hold off the remaining waves of enemies.
18	When ready, use the rope to descend the prison wall and escape the compound.
19	Exfil with Price and Ghost to complete Prison Break.

Listen Carefully to Ghost's Instruction When Sniping

Since there will be less information and HUD, make sure to listen carefully to Ghost instructions on how and when to shoot the patrolling enemies. You can turn on the subtitles, so you can also read the instruction on the screen.

Use Grenades Against Riot Shields

Basketball Court

Take out the Riot Shield holders quickly and efficiently using lethal grenades, like the Frag Grenade or Molotov. Enemies with Riot Shields will come out when you move up to the hallway on the next floor after releasing Alejandro and outside the prison on the basketball court.

Stun Enemies When Stuck or Recovering Health

Delay the enemy advancement using tactical grenades if you're stuck in a place or trying to recover health. You can use Tear Gas or Flashbangs for these kind of situations, and you can get them from your backpack.

Pick Up an SMG or Assault Rifle After Guiding Ghost

Pick up a different weapon and switch out your pistol after guiding Ghost with a CCTV for better firepower.

We recommend picking up SMGs or Assault Rifles, like TAQ-56, Lachmann, or M4 gun variations, as most of the engagements are mid-range distance, and these guns are easy to find and use. You can find and pick these guns up by killing enemies.

Watch Out for Enemies on the Tower Room

Once you're up on the wall with the Task Force 141 squad and after a short shootout, the room of the tower on the right will open up with enemies inside. Listen to Price's call out about enemies on the right and immediately take them out before they get you.

Use the Signal-50 Sniper on the Wall

There's a Signal-50 sniper rifle up on the wall leaning on the wall which you can use to snipe enemies out with one shot. It's located near the tower's room on the right.

Blow Up the Vehicles Sabotaged by Ghost

You can progress and end the mission faster by blowing up all the vehicles sabotaged by Ghost once you're up the wall. You'll know if they're the ones with explosive if you hover over the vehicles with a button prompt appearing.

Prison Break Achievements

No Time To Lose Achievement

To earn the No Time to Lose Achievement, players will need to finish the CCTV sequence under 4 minutes. This is pretty tricky since it requires you to know the route and enemy movements by heart.

In order to get a feel for when to kill or ignore enemies, make sure to keep restarting from Last Checkpoint until you can direct Ghost through the level fluidly with little to no pause time in between actions.

No Time to Lose Complete Guide

Backpack Guy Achievement

To get the Backpack Guy Achievement, you will need to kill 3 gassed (using Tear Gas) or blinded (using Flashes) enemies using a Molotov, Semtex, and Frag Grenade. Make sure to keep an eye out for opponents you can do this to during the cell block area in order to get the achievement.

Wall of Duty Achievement

Prison Break is one of the only levels where you can pick up a dropped Riot Shield. During the section where you free the Los Vaqueros, pick up the dropped Riot Shields and use it to kill 3 enemies to get this achievement.

Rope Down Bug Fix

Stay on the Right Side of the Wall

Many players are experiencing the Rope Down bug when they try to escape the area with the squad. Try not to get in the way of the NPCs to avoid encountering this bug and finish the mission. Stay on the right side of the wall and wait until everyone else escapes except Captain Price.

Restart the Mission

Consider restarting the whole mission to fix this bug. Loading from the last checkpoint would still let the bug persist, so the most certain way to resolve it is to do the mission from the start.

If that still won't fix the bug, you can also try re-launching Modern Warfare 2 to solve it.
