Release Date and Time Countdown: When Will Modern Warfare 2 Come Out?
The storefronts of both the Playstation and Xbox versions of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II (MW2) state that pre-ordering any digital version will allow you to preload the game before launch. Make sure to grab a copy of the Cross-Gen or Vault edition to get the opportunity to preload the game before October 27.
How to Pre-Order & All Pre-Order Bonuses
Head to the official online stores/launchers of your preferred platform. PlayStation users will be able to pre-load MW2 on the PlayStation Store, Xbox users can pre-load on the Microsoft Store on their Xboxes, and PC users can pre-load on either the Battle.net launcher or the Steam launcher.
For exact pre-loading dates, refer to the pre-loading schedule above.
For players who want to immediately jump into multiplayer and lessen the update file size on October 27, 2022, you can pre-order any edition of the game to get access to the campaign early on October 20, 2022.
