Zombified Piglins can be found in the Nether, within Crimson Forest and Nether Waste biomes.

Though most Zombified Piglins spawn with Golden Swords, there are instances wherein players can meet Zombified Piglins that have Crossbows or other Golden weapons.

Emerges from Nether Portals in the Overworld

There are rare instances when Zombified Piglins emerge from Nether Portals in the Overworld.

When creating Nether Portals, always be careful as some Nether mobs can use your portal and attack the player and nearby mobs!

Spawn in Overworld or End

Piglins transform into Zombified Piglins in 15 seconds!

Players can spawn a Piglin or a Piglin Brute manually through the console command screen and it will transform into a Zombified Piglin.

Additionally, players can also spawn Zombified Piglins in Creative Mode using its Mob Egg.

How to Beat Zombified Piglins

Eliminate One Piglin at a Time

It is highly recommended to take down Zombified Piglins when they aren't bundled together. Otherwise, one will sense your hostility towards a Zombified Piglin and will attack you as a group.

To prevent being cornered and ganged up on by Zombified Piglins, wait for them to be far from each other so you can take them down one at a time.

Attack Using Weapons with Smite

The easiest way to take down Zombified Piglins or any undead mobs is by using weapons with Smite Enchantment.

Smite Enchantment increases damage dealt to undead mobs, which could prove very useful especially when visiting the Nether.

Collectively Hostile Upon Attacking

Unlike regular Piglins, Zombified Piglins do not care whether the player is wearing Golden armor, opening nearby chests, or mining Gold. Zombified Piglins are more likely to ignore the player unless one is attacked.

Upon attacking a Zombified Piglin, all nearby Zombified Piglins will be alerted and will chase you down relentlessly. They cannot be bartered with Gold Ingots whatsoever and the only way to stop their hostility is to take them all down.

Shares Characteristics of Undead Mobs

Being an Undead mob, Zombified Piglins take damage from Potions of Healing, as well as extra damage against weapons with Smite Enchantment.

In addition, Zombified Piglins cannot be poisoned and will not gain health from regeneration.
