Strategy Against Magikoopa

Magikoopa's orbs attack have an indicator on whether it will hit Mario or Luigi, pay close attention to the colors.

Attack Pattern 1

Magikoopa summons cubes and transforms them one by one into either a Goomba, a Paratroopa, or a Bob-omb. When all of them are defeated, Magikoopa will charge at Mario and Luigi.
How to Dodge This attack cannot be dodged.
How to Counter Stomp on the enemies as they pass by Mario and Luigi.

Attack Pattern 2

Magikoopa sends orbs with varying colors above, which eventually crashes down to Mario and Luigi in the same order they were summoned.
How to Dodge This attack cannot be dodged.
How to Counter Memorize the order of which the orbs are summoned as well as their color. The red ones will hit Mario, green ones will hit Luigi, and blue ones will miss.
