Some side quests are missable in Mario & Luigi: Brothership. These are indicated with a Special Quest banner and a red color on the quest log.

Advancing the main story will make these special quests unavailable. Make sure to complete these first before progressing as you will not have the chance to complete them and claim the quest rewards.

Certain Parts of the Map Will Be Inaccessible

Some parts of the map, such as those in Great Lighthouse Islands, will become inaccessible after reaching a certain point in the main story.

Make sure to uncover any hidden blocks and question mark blocks before proceeding with the main quest.

Quests and Bosses Cannot Be Replayed

Quests and Bosses Cannot Be Replayed

Main story quest progression and boss fights cannot be replayed and are one-time events. The only way to go back to these points is to reload from a different save file that takes place before the boss fight or a specific point in the main quest.
