Strategy Against Shower Fish

Shower Fish will always have its light as an indicator when it's going to do an attack. Wait until if flashes to perforrm a dodge or a counter.

Attack Pattern 1

Shower fish launches itself to you to shower you with kisses.
How to Dodge Once Shower Fish's light turns on, immediately jump to avoid damage.
How to Counter Once Shower Fish's light turns on and you avoided the attack by jumping, stomping on Shower Fish will cause damage to it. It will attack again, time your jump for the second attack.

Attack Pattern 2

Shower fish will hurl itself, crashing towards you.
How to Dodge This attack cannot be dodged.
How to Counter Time your hammer attack just before Shower Fish crushes you to send it back.

Attack Pattern 3

Shower Fish launches itself towards you, slapping you multiple times.
How to Dodge This attack cannot be dodged.
How to Counter Once Shower Fish's light turns on, immediately attack with your hammer as it will launch its attack instantly.

Shower Fish circles around both brothers and chooses a target to hit.
How to Dodge This attack cannot be dodged.
How to Counter To know which target Shower Fish will attack, watch whether its light will glow on Mario or Luigi, then have them jump and stomp Shower Fish as it attacks.

Shower Fish changes its form, this is a harmless attack.
