Don't Let the Glohm Field Reach You
The Glohm field that Glohm Bowser summons at the start of the fight will continuously expand until it reaches your side of the arena. While standing on its area of effect, Mario and Luigi will take damage per turn.
Finish this fight fast by spamming Bros. Attacks and making sure your counters hit!
Use Luigi Logic While Bowser is Stunned
A ship piloted by Shy Guys will eventually appear and shoot cannonballs at Mario and Luigi. Some of these cannonballs will fly directly to its target while some will bounce off the ground first.
Afterwards, Luigi will unlock the Luigi Logic command block that is a key point of this fight. Glohm Bowser must be stunned first (by dealing enough damage) before using Luigi Logic. Otherwise, he will bring the ship down instantly and you would have to wait for another to come.

You can tell if the cannonball will bounce first if the ship aims on the ground. If it aims directly on a Bro, the cannonball will fly straight. It will also completely miss most of its shots. Time your Hammer swings right to send the cannonballs to Bowser. |
Shoot Glohm Bowser and Survive for as Long as You Can
After successfully boarding the Shy Guy ship, you will enter a shooter scenario where you can just spam cannonballs at Glohm Bowser while avoiding his attacks.
Try surviving for as long as you can (just a single hit will destroy the ship) while chipping Glohm Bowser's health until the ship goes down by itself, indicating that the boss is on low health.

| How to Counter | Bowser signals his attack with a woosh sound, which can either be a body slam or a body drop. Prepare to counter when you hear the sound cue. |

| How to Dodge | This series of attack is full of fake outs to bait you into jumping early. In the slam attack, jump when Bowser spins midair, then jump over the following shockwaves. In the flamethrower attack, jump when flames start coming out of his mouth. In the sweep attack, jump when he twists his body to his left. |
