Before entering the boss area, it's smart to buy healing items like Nuts from the Item Store on Rumbla Island.

Nuts restore 20 HP for both Mario and Luigi simultaneously, which is useful since Gorumbla has multiple attacks that can hit both characters at once.

After Gorumbla’s Falling Debris attack, a rock will land in a nearby statue. Activate Luigi Logic to launch the stone from the statue at Gorumbla, which will knock it out temporarily.

While Gorumbla is down, take the opportunity to deal as much damage as possible before it recovers.
