How to Do Attack Combos

Press Buttons at the Right Time

To perform attack combos, or a chain of attacks, you must press which buttons appear on the screen at the correct moment.

This will make Mario or Luigi do an additional attack and deal more damage to the enemy.

Do Attack Combos As Brothers

You can generally perform attack combos as long as both brothers are engaged in battle. If either brother is downed, affected by Glohm, or otherwise incapacitated during the battle, you will be unable to perform Attack Combos.

Which Attacks Can Be Chained Into A Combo?

Jump Attack

A basic attack that can be extended into a combo by pressing the button again when Mario or Luigi lands on the enemy.

Hammer

A powerful attack that, when timed correctly, gives major damage. Press the button just as the hammer swing is charged up to initiate the combo.

Failure to do so will only hit the enemy with a small amount of damage.

Bros. Attack

Bros. Attacks are special moves that involve both Mario and Luigi working together. These moves require fulfilling a combination of button presses for each character to maintain the combo.
