If this side quest doesn’t appear for you after you return to Shipshape Island from Lottacoins Island, you may need to progress the story a little bit.
This side quest involves defeating enemies to complete it. It is recommended to have Mario and Luigi to be at least level 16 to easily complete this quest.
On Shipshape Island, head to the Beach and talk to Princess Peach to start the quest.
After speaking with Princess Peach, make your way to Desolatt Island. Upon arrival, a cutscene will play featuring a conversation between Princess Peach and a Brown Concordian.
When the Brown Concordian asks if you’d like to buy the Bond Ore, select any option to continue the quest.
