You can fast travel in Mario & Luigi: Brothership by using the blue pipe on Shipshape Island or the golden Return Pipe. Read on for more information on how to fast travel, how to unlock the golden pipe, and the islands that you can fast travel to.
List of Contents
Once you connect Rumbla Island to the Uni-Tree on Shipshape Island, a blue warp pipe will appear near the Save block on the south side of Shipshape Island.
This blue pipe will allow you to go back to any island you have visited and connected to the Uni-Tree.
Once you’ve obtained the Return Pipe, you can fast travel from anywhere without having to use the blue pipe on Shipshape Island.
Simply use the ZR button to use the Return Pipe. Choose whether you want to return to Shipshape Island or go to another island. The golden pipe will then be taken out, and Mario and Luigi will warp using it.
You can only fast travel to islands that have been linked to Shipshape Island. These are islands with Connectar Plugs that have been activated by Mario and Luigi.
If you have visited an island but haven’t pulled its Connectar Plug, you will not be able to fast travel to that island yet.
You will be able to unlock the golden Return Pipe automatically as you go through the main story.
After completing Raynforst Island and Twistee Island, you will be asked to go back to Rumbla Island and save it from the bad guys. The Return Pipe will be given to you after defeating the boss at Rumbla Island at this point.
