How to Use Max-Mix Vortex

Launch Fire and Ice Balls

Launch fireballs with A as Mario and ice balls with B as Luigi. If the balls hit each other, they’ll bounce away, so time each launch carefully.

The type and number of balls that make it into the tornado will determine its effect:

• If it's mostly fireballs, it will become a fire tornado and have a Burn effect.
• If it's mostly ice balls, it will become an ice tornado and have an Ice effect.
• If there's a balance of fire and ice balls, it will become a Bomb Tornado and deal extra damage.

If you're going for a Bomb Tornado, aim to launch nine fireballs first, then fill the remaining slots with ice balls.

Suck Enemies with the Tornado

Move your tornado with the Left Stick and suck up the enemies for maximum damage! Tap X to keep the tornado going longer.
