Unlocked After Completing Offandon Island

After you complete Offandon Island, you will be able to find this side quest on Shipshape Island. Talk to Billdit at his workshop, and hear his Request in order to start Craft Some Validation Gloves.

If this side quest doesn’t appear for you after you return to Shipshape Island from Offandon Island, you may need to progress the story a little bit.

Story Walkthrough

Requires You to Choose Billdit at Raynforst Island

After going through Rumbla Island the first time, you will be given the choice of going to either Raynforst Island to find Billdit or Twistee Island to find Maykit.

Whomever you choose first will get to make Mario and Luigi's hammers, setup a workshop on Shipshape Island, and influence certain quests. Craft Some Validation Gloves is only available if you choose to go to Billdit at Raynforst Island first.

Give Billdit the Quest Requirements

To complete Craft Some Validation Gloves, you need to get seven Offandon Bricks, seven pieces of Heatfreeze Ore, and three Bulbfish Lanterns.

These items can be dropped by enemies in their respective islands—Offandon Island for Offandon Brick, Heatfreeze Island for Heatfreeze Ore, and Bulbfish Island for Bulbfish Lantern.

Billdit will reward you with the Validation Gloves accessory once you complete this quest. This will also be available for purchase at his workshop.

Take note that this accessory is exclusive to Billdit's workshop. If you have Maykit’s workshop, you will not be able to get this accessory.
