Great Conductor Strategy |
---|
|
At the start of the battle, the Great Conductor will grab one of the bros., create multiple copies of him, and place a pink cap over each one. The remaining brother must then break the cap hiding the real brother before attempting any attacks on the Great Conductor.
Before you make your guess, the Great Conductor will prompt the bros. in caps to move, giving you a chance to identify the real brother. The real brother will move in a familiar way, while the fakes will display unusual movements.
The real Mario stretches his right arm in a circular motion while idle. He also holds his hammer over his shoulder before attacking, and keeps it angled downward after swinging.
The real Luigi stretches his legs when jumping, and while idle, he touches his cheek and points upward.
In the second phase of the battle, the Great Conductor will begin shuffling the pink caps after making them move. The shuffling is slow enough for you to track the real brother.
Breaking the caps may take multiple hits, even with the right gear. To maximize damage, jump on top of the real brother's cap or hit it with a hammer during the Great Conductor’s attacks.
After freeing the real brother from the pink cap, the Great Conductor will ask you to perform an EXCELLENT Bros. Attack at him. Go for an easy Bros. Attack, such as any of the Shells (Red or Green) or Mario's Bomb Derby, for the best chance to hit an EXCELLENT attack.

I hate this part of the game. It's highly annoying. I sick as getting excellent on the bros moves so I guess this is where the game ends for me. They should've Givin an option to skip it
