Strategy Against Magmad

Before Magmad performs its breath attack, it will taunt by transforming into a lava puddle countless times. Pay attention to this visual cue to anticipate the attack.

Attack Pattern 1

Magmad will spray a line of fire breath vertically twice.
How to Dodge Have both brothers time their jumps to avoid Magmad's fiery breath.
How to Counter This attack cannot be countered.

Attack Pattern 2

Magmad will run in front of you, hide in a lava puddle, then emerge to attack. It repeats this sequence twice.
How to Dodge This attack cannot be dodged.
How to Counter Hit Magmad once it pops up from the puddle to avoid further damage.
