Limited-time quests will disappear upon progressing the story, and you will be unable to complete them for the rest of your playthrough.
After you complete Offandon Island, you will be able to find this side quest on Shipshape Island. Talk to Technikki north of the Island in order to start Technikki's Past.
If this side quest doesn’t appear for you after you return to Shipshape Island from Offandon Island, you may need to progress the story a little bit.
This side quest involves defeating enemies to complete it. It is recommended to have Mario and Luigi to be at least level 34 to easily complete this quest.
Technikki's Past Quest Objectives |

Head to the northeast part of Shipshape Island, near the Big Cannon, and talk to Technikki to start the quest.
Travel to Merrygo Island and find Technikki's Workshop on the northeast side of the island. You can take the flower bridge just north of the Blue Pipe instead of going through the maze.
Interact with the note on the wall to trigger a cutscene.
After the cutscene, you’ll engage in a battle with Glohm Enemies. Use Bros. Attacks that target multiple enemies for a quicker victory! Defeating the Glohm Enemies will free the captured Purple Concordian.
Be cautious when battling Glohm Enemies, as their attacks can inflict the Glohm status ailment. Use an Ampberry to cure yourself from the ailment or take a 50% chance with a Refreshing Herb.
Return to Shipshape Island and show the note to Technikki. After a lengthy cutscene, the quest will be completed!
