Consumables | Beans | Materials |
Consumables are items for HP and BP recovery, revival, and other instant effects. They can be used in and out of combat.
You can obtain Consumables by buying them from Item Shops and Peddlers, hitting Invisible and Question Blocks while exploring, getting them as random enemy drops, or playing minigames.

Mushroom | Restores 30 HP. |
Super Mushroom | Restores 60 HP |
Ultra Mushroom | Restores 130 HP |
Max Mushroom | Restores 200 HP |
1-Up Mushroom | Revives a downed brother with 50% HP. |
1-Up DX | Revives a downed brother with 100% HP. |
Refreshing Herb | Cures status ailments like Trip, Dizzy, Burn, and Ice. Sometimes cures other ailments too. |
Ampberry | Cures the Glohm status ailment. |
Syrup Jar | Restores 10 BP. |
Super Syrup Jar | Restores 20 BP. |
Ultra Syrup Jar | Restores 30 BP. |
Max Syrup Jar | Restores 40 BP. |
Nut | Restores each brother's HP by 20. |
Super Nut | Restores each brother's HP by 40. |
Ultra Nut | Restores each brother's HP by 70. |
Max Nut | Restores each brother's HP by 110. |
Candy | Restores HP and BP by 30%. |
Super Candy | Restores HP and BP by 50%. |
Ultra Candy | Restores HP and BP by 70%. |
Max Candy | Restores HP and BP by 100%. |
Boo Biscuit | Makes the user invincible against monster attacks for a while and lets them dodge. |
Standard Bait | An excellent bait for beginners. You can catch basically anything with it. |
Handcrafted Bait | This bait is best for catching fish that go into making equipment. |
Rarest Bait | This bait is best for catching fish that can be sold for a high price. |

Beans are items you can consume outside of combat to permanently increase one of your stats.
Considering that you can only use each Bean once and there's a limited number of Beans in the game, think carefully and plan on whose stats you will boost!

Materials are items usually dropped by defeated monsters and are used for completing quests and crafting Gear.
Most of the Materials include the island they're found on in their names (e.g., Twistee Leaf drops from enemies in Twistee Island). Use this as a reference if you ever need to revisit an island for a Gear or quest!

Coinfish | A fish found in most seas. Fetches a fairly high price. |
Bullionfish | A fish found in every sea. Fetches a fairly high price. |
Seedle Seed | A seed obtained from a Seedle. Maybe hold on to it for now? |
Apple Core | An apple core picked up on Desolatt Island. It's picked clen down to the apple bones. |
Offandon Brick | A brick obtained on Offandon Island. Can be used as material to make equipment. |
Wayaway Chain | A chain obtained on Wayaway Island. Can be used as material to make equipment. |
Glohm Dust | Dust obtained from Glohm enemies. Can be used as material to make equipment. |
Sharkbone Bone | A bone obtained from a Sharkbone. There's no real point in keeping it. |
Zokket Alloy | An alloy scavenged from a Zok Trooper. Can be used as material to make gear. |
Treasurefish | A fish only found in the Gulchrock and Stormstar Seas. Fetches an impressively high price. |
