Unlocked After Completing Offandon Island

After you complete Offandon Island, you will be able to find this side quest on Heatfreeze Island. Talk to Burnadette and Chilliam at the Plaza in order to start The Empty Nests.

If this side quest doesn’t appear for you after you return to Shipshape Island from Offandon Island, you may need to progress the story a little bit.

Talk to Burnadette and Chilliam on Heatfreeze Island

MLB Talk to Burnadette and Chilliam

Head to Heatfreeze Island and find Burnadette and Chilliam in the center of the Island Plaza to start the quest. They’ll ask you to check in on their fathers, who are located on two different islands.

Visit Burnadette's Dad on Skorcheen Island

MLB Talk to Burnadette

First, use the Return Pipe by pressing ZR to fast-travel to Skorcheen Island.

Once there, head west from the island plaza. Cross the bridge above, then take the bridge on the right, where you'll find Burnadette's Dad. Talk to him to continue the quest.

Visit Chilliam's Dad on Slippenglide Island

MLB Talk to Chilliam

Next, use the Return Pipe again to fast-travel to Slippenglide Island. Make your way to the house east of the Item Shop to find and talk to Chilliam’s Dad.

Return to the Couple

MLB Return to Couple

After speaking with both fathers, return to Heatfreeze Island and talk to the couple to complete the quest.
