Toads Undercover is a side quest in Mario & Luigi: Brothership that can be started on Offandon Island after completing Wayaway Island. Read on for a full walkthrough of Toads Undercover, including its location, unlock requirements, and rewards.

Unlocked After Completing Wayaway Island
After you complete Wayaway Island, you will be able to find this side quest on Offandon Island. Talk to Toad next to the Peddler in order to start Toads Undercover.
If this side quest doesn’t appear for you after you return to Shipshape Island from Wayaway Island, you may need to progress the story a little bit.
Toads Undercover Walkthrough

Talk to the Toad at Offandon Island
Go to Offandon Island, then talk to the Toad to the left of the blue entrance pipe. He’ll ask you to look for the other Toads who are in disguise on the island.
Offandon Island Location Guide
Go to the Plaza and Put on a Disguise
Use the green warp pipe near the Toad to fast travel near the plaza. You’ll find a group of Toads gathered nearby. They’ll tell you that one Toad is still disguised somewhere in the plaza.
Head left, and you will be asked if you want to wear a disguise and enter the plaza. Select Yes.
Find the Disguised Toads at the Plaza

Talk to anyone in the line for the Bowser-brand Wayaway Soda in order to fall in line behind a disguised Toad. |
You need to find and talk to three disguised Toads at the plaza in order to progress the quest.
Defeat the Koopa Troopas
Unfortunately, your disguises won’t hold up after you find the last Toad. Upon being found out, you will have to battle a group of Koopa Troopas.
They shouldn’t be too difficult to deal with as long as you counter their attacks. It is also recommended to use multi-target Bros. Attacks to deal with them.
Once you defeat the Koopa Troopas, you’ll reconvene with the group of Toads and complete the quest.

Revives a downed brother with 100% HP. |
Rescuing the Toads in Toads Undercover rewards you with a bounty of Mushrooms. You get three Ultra Mushrooms and three pieces of 1-Up DX for completing the quest.
