Foopfly Dodge and Counter Tips

Strategy Against Foopfly

When Foopfly spits three projectiles overhead to attack, take note of the last one as this is the one that will hit you. Ready your hammer and reflect it back to Foopfly.

Attack Pattern 1

Foopfly will spit three projectiles overhead which can hit you.
How to Dodge This attack cannot be dodged.
How to Counter Ready your hammer and hit all big projectiles coming your way to reflect it back to Foopfly.

Attack Pattern 2

Foopfly spins in front of either Mario or Luigi and shoots a projectile after stopping.
How to Dodge This attack cannot be dodged.
How to Counter Hit Foopfly with the hammer as its snout is pointed at an enemy and damage them instead.

Attack Pattern 3

Foopfly spits a projectile and moves forward, repeating this pattern and getting progressively closer each time. It will deal damage if it reaches and touches you.
How to Dodge Time your jumps as the projectiles goes through you.
How to Counter After jumping on the projectiles, your last jump should stomp Foopfly, dealing damage to it.
