Location | Fortress Zokket |
Level | 40 |
Best Option to Attack With | Either Hammer or Jump Attacks |
Zokket, as the namesake implies, is the final boss encountered at the end of Fortress Zokket. He can be found on the Top Floor of the area.
Zokket Strategy |
---|
|
To maximize damage against Zokket, focus on initiating Bros. Attacks with Mario and Luigi, especially high BP-cost moves like Clockout Blow, Yoo Who Cannon, Jump Helmet, and Bomb Derby. If one brother is out of commission, shift to Hammer Attacks for a stronger alternative to Jump Attacks, maintaining optimal damage output throughout the fight.
Time your dodges and counter-attacks correctly when dealing with Zokket, as his moves can significantly decrease the brothers' HP, or inflict the Glohmed Status Ailment that disables Mario and Luigi from performing all coordinated attacks.
Most of Zokket's early attacks are easy to read, as they are indicated by the Hand he uses to start the move. He will also have additional attacks in the later phases which give you time to adapt to and react, so keep an eye out for these signals to respond appropriately.
When struck by one of his attacks that inflict Glohmed, be sure to use an Ampberry to fully recover from the Status Ailment. You can also use a Refreshing Herb which only has a 50% chance of removing the debuff, only if you run out of Ampberries.
Recommended Battle Plugs | |
---|---|
Auto Ampberry | Auto Herb |
Auto 1-Up | Surefooted Guard |
Damage Shield | Auto EXCELLENT |
Performance Bonus | Bros. Boost |
Back-Atcha Attack | Easy-Peasy Counters |
For the early phases, ready your defensive and utility Battle Plugs such as the Auto Ampberry, Surefooted Guard, Back-Atcha Attack, and Auto 1-Up. Having these ready will be useful during the event where one of the brothers temporarily becomes Zokket's minion, leaving only one person to defend for themself.
In the later stages, consider using both Performance Bonus and Bros. Boost to strengthen your Bros. Attacks and restore BP. Since these plugs have limited charges, they’re best utilized during Zokket's final phases, where the chance for high-damage opportunities is more frequent. Swap them in as needed to maximize your impact.

One really important detail that isn't included in this: zokket occasionally powers up, making some patterns more difficult. One really cheesy strat you can use is using a boo biscuit right before this power up, skipping the phases where it powers up.
