Day 8 of Stellar Flare is focused on constantly breaking shields and dealing DoT. With this, a DoT team is your best option for this challenge. Sampo, the trial character, can buff any character with a DoT in their kit and even DoTs from inflicting Weakness Break.
Himeko is absolutely broken for Day 8 since her Talent triggers almost every time due to how often you can break enemy shields. Serval and Asta are added to inflict more status effects on enemies.

If you don't have Himeko, you can replace her with Hook, who has DoT in her kit. Jing Yuan is also a great option since he is an AoE DPS that can easily break the elite enemies' shields. The support slot is flexible, so you can replace Asta with a unit of your choice.

This F2P team revolves around dealing damage through DoT. Serval and Asta can inflict Shock and Burn on enemies while Sampo can increase the DoT taken. Dan Heng is added to finish off the remaining enemies. Also, you can replace Asta with Natasha for healing.

Constantly Inflict Weakness Break
The stage effect on Day 8 allows you to inflict Weakness Breaks frequently since enemy shields regenerate instantly. Also, all DoTs applied triggers for every Weakness Break. With this, you always want to break enemy shields to maximize your damage!
Bring an AoE DPS with DoT
AoE DPS characters are vital for Day 8 since you almost always want to attack both elite enemies at the same time. Remember that the stage effect for Day 8 revolves around inflicting Weakness Break and DoT, so an AoE DPS such as Serval is your best option for this stage.

Conserve Your Skill Points
Running a three DPS team is Skill Point intensive. Fortunately, the trash mobs for Day 8 can easily be defeated using Basic ATKs as long as you can inflict Weakness Breaks. With this, only use your abilities during the elite enemy waves!
