Plant Fiber in the Overworld
Start the quest by running towards the rocky area to escape the Sandworm. Then, gather the required 15 Plant Fiber from the shrubs pictured above.

Craft and Equip the Makeshift Clothing
Open the menu and head to the Research Tab. Select and unlock the Makeshift Clothing Schematic Kit for 1 Intel. Then, use the Plant Fiber to craft each piece, and equip them in the Inventory Tab afterwards.

2. Get Your First Ranged Weapon

Salvaged Metal Pieces
Similarly, gather the required 65 Salvaged Metal by picking up scraps or using the Cutteray on larger chunks of wreckage.

Maula Pistol Kit in Research Tab
This time, select the Maula Pistol Kit from the Research Tab. Unlock it for 2 Intel points, then craft the Improvised Maula Pistol and 90 Light Darts. End the quest by equipping the Maula Pistol from your toolbar.
