What Does Deftness Do?
Increases Initiative and Flee Chance
Deftness raises the character's Initiative and Flee Chance, allowing them to perform pre-emptive strikes, and flee from battle easily.

How to Increase Deftness
Level Up
Deftness automatically increases as your characters Level Up.
Defeat enemies in combat and obtain EXP to level up your characters and further increase their stats!
Vocation Stat Change
Depending on your character's Vocation, they can also receive additional Deftness, raising it by a certain percentage.
Keep in mind, however that some Vocations decrease Deftness such as the Warrior Vocation.
