What Does MP Do?

Mana of Each Character

Character Health

MP indicate a character's Mana, determining the total amount of resource a character has left for using Skills.

Skill-reliant characters require more mana, since they rely on Skills to either deal damage or support the party.

Level Up

Demo Level Limit

Character MP automatically increases as your characters Level Up.

Defeat enemies in combat and obtain EXP to level up your characters and further increase their stats!

Use Seed of Magic

Seed of Magic Icon

Using a Seed of Magic will also increase a character's base MP, allowing you to increase a character's MP stat without requiring you to Level them up.

Vocations

Depending on your character's Vocation, they can also receive additional MP, raising it by a certain percentage.

Keep in mind, however that some Vocations decrease MP such as the Warrior Vocation.

How to Recover Mana

Rest at an Inn

Resting at an Inn recovers both HP and MP for your entire party.

Finding and Resting at an Inn is the easiest way to restore MP, as Inns are available in most towns.

Use MP Recovery Items and Equipment

MP Recovery, such as Single Phial can also be used during combat to restore some MP. Some Equipment also provide additional MP, with some even providing MP Regen or MP Cost Reduction.

MP Recovery Items can be obtained through various means, either as drops from enemies, loot from chests, found in Sparkly Spots, or even by simply purchasing them from shops.
