Bring the Component Monsters for the Mole Hole DLC

DQM3 - The Mole Hole.png

If you have purchased or are planning to purchase the Mole Hole DLC, then it's recommended that you bring along synthesized component monsters instead of the synthesized final monster.

As an example, instead of bringing along Dessert Demon, it's recommended that you bring along Chocolate Golem instead.

Monsters Can Immediately Be Synthesized

Once you acquire monsters from playing the Mole Hole DLC, you can easily synthesize them with the component monsters you brought along with you and acquire even more monsters!

This method is especially recommended for those looking to fill up their Monsterpedia!

Recommended Set of Monsters to Carry Over

Sample Set 1: E-Rank Monsters for Early Stages

Hunter Mech ImageHunter Mech Hunter Mech ImageHunter Mech Raptile ImageRaptile Raptile ImageRaptile
Restless Armour ImageRestless Armour Restless Armour ImageRestless Armour Slime Knight ImageSlime Knight Chocolate Golem ImageChocolate Golem

These are great sets of monsters to carry over for multiple reasons. Not only do they include highly capable monsters that are exceptional for early stage exploration, scouting, and battles, but they can be synthesized to create powerful E-rank monsters!

Since some of these monsters are components for monsters such as Escudogre and Mandrake Major that both have high attack power, scouting for new monsters will remain easy even after synthesis!

Sample Set 2: Monsters with Complex Synthesis

Hunter Mech ImageHunter Mech Restless Armour ImageRestless Armour Raptile ImageRaptile Chocolate Golem ImageChocolate Golem
Dessert Demon ImageDessert Demon Whizzard ImageWhizzard Garuda ImageGaruda Cloud Surfer ImageCloud Surfer

These sets include monsters whose synthesis, whether to create them or to create other monsters, are comparatively more complicated than most.

However, most of these monsters can learn all-out attack spells and breath attacks very early on, so it's recommended to bring them along with you if you're looking to make the early stages of the game a walk in the park!
