Choosing between Rose or Toilen is a story event in Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince (DQM3). Read on to learn which character the player should choose, and the consequences for either choice!

The correct choice after completing the Cradle of Corruption is to select either character the first time, and then select Toilen after being asked a second time.
The ending of the story doesn't change depending on who you pick here, and even if you accidentally pick Rose, you will be allowed to choose again.
Choosing Rose a second time will result in Toilen getting angry. Additionally, you will be forced to re-watch the same cutscene from earlier again.
This sequence of choosing Rose and re-watching the cutscene will loop until you select Toilen, so select Toilen once you're ready to progress the story.
The cutscene shown in this segment of the story is linked to that of a previous Dragon Quest title, Dragon Quest 4. As Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince is a story told from the perspective of the original game's antagonist, Psaro, this game shares a story connection with the older title.
