▲ Recommended healers to have. Can be used both for clearing the story and exploration.
For S size category, Slionheart is a recommended pick since it excels in the recovery above others thanks its recovery moves and its ability to act as much as two times with its Tactical Support trait.
Malroth and Ewwnicorn are recommended for top picks in the L size category (while Ewwnicorn is alright for midgame in the S Size category).
Malroth can serve an attacker-healer role with his attacks and Moreheal, while Ewwnicorn can serve as a strong dedicated support healer with Multiheal.
Any monster can play a role as dedicated healer in the story so as long as you have built your monster and the party to have some form of recovery or healer-related traits.
This ability to heal is bolstered with the Health Professional trait, and will make it easier for you to clear the story with a monster in your party inheriting this trait.
Let healers like Healslime, who can be found early in the Circle of Temper, Lower Echelon, learn high-ranking magic as the story progresses.

Clearing out enemies quickly by boosting your monsters' attacks and having them using strong all-out attacks are enough in surviving through the early-game, so there is no need to force yourself to immediately organize a party with a healer.
You can start considering dedicated healers in your strategy much later into the story. For now, some monsters you encounter may be able to learn some basic recovery skills like Heal, so you can have them in your party first.
Skill | Effect |
---|---|
Heal | Restores 28 or more HP to a single ally. |
Midheal | Restores 76 or more HP to a single ally. |
Basic healing skills such as those above are recommended for early game since they are not expensive on MP. Several monsters are also capable of learning these skills, such as the Healslime.

Best Mid-Game Healer |
---|
King Cureslime |
King Cureslime is the best healer for the mid-game due to his recovery skills like Multiheal, and unique skill healing skills such as Right as Rain.
This monster, paired with others, serves a powerful dedicated healer-support role, and can be a useful member your party as far as the endgame.
Skill | Effect |
---|---|
Multiheal | Restores 76 or more HP to all allies. |
As you reach the mid-game stages, general enemy attacks start dealing more damage, and some enemy attacks will be able cover more than one target.
It is advisable to have monsters learn special skills that heal your entire party such as Multiheal, and healing skills are even better when you have monster with a good recovery-related trait such as Health Professional.
Monster | Points |
---|---|
Slionheart | Ranking: ★★★★★ ・Strongest healer in the game ・S size, can act once or twice ・Can heal with Omniheal or revive with Kazing ・Strongest healer in the game |
King Cureslime | Ranking: ★★★★☆ ・Can uniquely learn healing skills up to Omniheal ・Learn Health Professional at Lv. 20 ・Can continue as a powerful healer from mid-game |

Best Endgame Healer |
---|
Slionheart |
Slionheart is the strongest healer of its class, and is capable of acting up to two (2) times through its trait Tactical Trooper.
Your party's performance can be improved with Slionheart if you can set up the monster's tactics to Focus on Healing, and narrow down the frequent use of skills the monster's skills to Omniheal and Kazing.
Talent | Availability |
---|---|
Supreme Healer | Combination of Healer or Paramedic Cure-All |
Mystic | From monsters Clawvus and Phoenix |
It is ideal to have a healer learn healing skills like Multiheal paired with talents such as Supreme Healer or Mystic. These talents should be easy to acquire once you have reached the late-game, and is recommended to learn if you get stuck in the main story.
Traits ★★★ |
Monsters with suitable traits will absolutely affect their healing skills in the long run. Additional traits that can also help a monster contribute in a party's offensive capabilities are also factored in. |
---|---|
Stats ★★ |
High stats are considered in the ranking evaluation (with consderation for their maximum stats). Monsters particularly high Wisdom and healing power are focused on. Monster resistances are also factored in the evaluation. |
Talents ★ |
Valuable talents will get a monster higher in the ranking, and can be considered for a higher grading when it synergizes well early with a trait. However, talents can vary, so they will not have as much impact as other criteria. |
Evaluation for healer monsters are based on three key points: traits, stats, and unique skills.
Large emphasis is placed on traits, since these, while can also hard to obtain due to being nonhereditary from synthesis, can directly affect a monster's performance, and have a large impact to the outcome of the battle.
In early game, difficulty may increase as your monsters decrease in health and strength as you continuously engage in battles, so it is recommended to have at least two (2) monsters with recovery skills in formation and some also on standby to ensure a good strategy.
Boss fights and arenas are long, drawn-out battles, so it is recommended that you have a one (1) or two (2) healers in your formation to keep your party alive throughout the battle.
It is also a good idea to train and specialize some monsters with recovery skills for certain situations such as having Squelch for curing members poisoned by enemies.
