Clearing the Cradle of Corruption Middle Level will unlock the Tinkerer's Toolbench at Rosehill. This can be confirmed when you get a message about the Item Shop (Monty) starting something new at the shop.
Cradle of Corruption (Middle Level) Walkthrough
The Tinkerer's Toolbench can be accessed by talking to Monty at Rosehill. He can be found at his usual spot!
At the Tinkerer's Toolbench, you can synthesize accessories by selecting 5 accessories to combine.
You have a chance to get 1 enhanced accessory after synthesis, but you will have to take care also since there is a possibility that the synthesis can fail.
Success | Dialogue: "Well, well! Quality work I say so I myself! Here you go, lad, all yours!"
Accessories will be returned with a plus. |
---|---|
Failure | Dialogue: "Oh dear, it seems much the same as when we started... Well, we can only hope to do better next time, eh."
An accessory will be returned without a plus. Other accessories will be lost. |
Accident (Hocus Pocus) |
There is a chance that an accessory will be reborn as another accessory. |
Accessory | Effect and Bonus |
---|---|
Tingly Ring | Defence+10, Fidget
Bonus: Defence+10, Antioxidant, Death Defier |
Rational Ring | Defence+10, Clear Thinker
Bonus: Defence+10, Insomniac, Granite Chin |
At the Tinker's Toolbench, it is possible to obtain a different accessory when an accident (Hocus Pocus) occurs during synthesis.
Of the many accessories that can be obtained, the Tingly Ring and Rational Ring can only be obtained from the Tinkerer's Toolbench. If you are looking to obtain these two, make sure to select your accessories carefully.
First, buy 30 to 40 of the same accessory at the mail order shop. The online shop's stock changes daily, but it should be no problem as long as they also have the accessories available.
Once you have purchased a large number of accessories from the shop, synthesize them at the Tinkerer's Toolbench to create 4 plus accessories.
With a large amount of accessories in your possession, you should have higher chances in succeeding the synthesis for a plus variant.
If you do not wish to fail and lose a lot of money, make sure to save first. It is recommended that you also turn off auto-saves to prevent accidentally keeping any undesired results from the synthesis.
Should your synthesis fail, you can always return to your previous manual save.
With the plus accessories you made in the step 2, select an accessory you wish to add a plus for synthesis. When using this method, there is a higher chance that your chosen accessory will be enhanced to its plus variant.
Should you fail, however, you can reload to your previous save and try again.
Accessory | Effect and Bonus |
---|---|
Care Ring | Max HP+30, Defence+30, Auto-Restora
Bonus: Max HP+10 |
Meteorite Bracer | Agility+100
Bonus: Agility+10 |
Mighty Amulet | Attack+100
Bonus: Attack+10 |
Sock-It Locket | Wisdom+100
Bonus: Wisdom+10 |
① | Prepare 5 or more Hocus Pocus Rings (when preparing more, make them multiples of 5). If possible, prepare around 15-20 pieces. |
---|---|
② | Prepare at least 5 unneeded accessories for synthesis (dependings on the number of Hocus Pocus Rings as you prepare more). |
① | Turn off auto-save and manually save in front on the Tinkerer's Toolbench. |
---|---|
② | Synthesize once using 5 Hocus Pocus Rings. If you have 10 or more Hocus Pocus Rings, synthesize according to the number of available rings. |
③ | Results of Step ② ・If it's the Tingly Ring or Rational Ring, then consider the process complete. ・If not, go to ④. |
④ | Return to the title screen without saving. |
⑤ | Syntheszie once using 5 unneeded accessories. |
⑥ | Save your game. |
⑦ | Return to step ②. Repeat steps ② to ⑥. |
There is a chance you can get unique synthesis accessories in following step ② above, but your chances are higher when you have more Hocus Pocus Rings.
It is recommended to have around 15-20 Hocus Pocus Rings to make the synthesis process more convenient!
Example of 5 Hocus Pocus Rings | |
---|---|
① | When the chosen accessory appears from the synthesis, return to the title without saving. |
② | Synthesize 1 Hocus Pocus Ring with 4 other unnecessary accessories. If you do not get the desired accessory, go to step ③. |
③ | Return to the title without saving. |
④ | Synthesize 2 Hocus Pocus Ring with 3 other unnecessary accessories. If you do not get the desired accessory, go to step ⑤. |
⑤ | Return to the title without saving. |
⑥ | Increase the number of Hocus Pocus Rings to be synthesized one by one similar to the previous steps until you get your desired accessory. Keep returning to the title screen and repeating the process if you do not succeed. |
We try to conserve Hocus Pocus Rings by minimizing the amount of times they are used in synthesis.
When you have obtained a desired accessory, you may be able to save money by reducing the number of Hocus Pocus Rings you consume.
Mastering Accessory Synthesis is to be desired for those who wish to min-max their monsters and optimize their teams to master battling in the game! In PvP battles, you will also want to benefit from the high stats that accessories provide.
Consider investing into accessory synthesis for a chance at getting higher win rates across the game and online.
However, If you just desire to clear the game normally, you can do so without having to do accessory synthesis at all! Accessory sythesis is optional to clearing the game.
7 Tips and Tricks to Master the Game
Reroll Procedure | |
---|---|
① | Turn off auto-save and save manually. |
② | Synthesize one accessory you wish to strength with four other materials. |
③ | If the synthesis fails, reload your save, change one of your materials, then synthesize. |
④ | Repeat ③ for as many accessories you have. |
⑤ | Once you have your desired acccessory, you can turn on auto-save or manually save. |
For rerolling, you will need a lot of accessories to be used as materials. This should be no problem if you carefully select low priority or unneeded accessories for synthesis.
When thinking of taking accessories equipped to monsters, check if your monster has levelled up enough to warrant being able to stand on its own without it.
If you use the same accessory for multiple materials, the chances of the accessory succeeding the synthesis will be better. However, it can be hard finding and collecting the same accessopry.
It is recommend to collect them after obtaining a Lucky Medal after clearing the main story.
Using plus accessories as synthesis materials will also increase the sucess rate of the synthesis.
However, it is not easy obtaining plus accessories since they themselves also usually require synthesis. If you have plus accessories to spare, you can give it a try for synthesis.
