Electric Boogie: Deals electric damage to all your monsters
Hotstepper: Deals fire damage to all your monsters
Fuddle Dance: Confuses all your monsters
Oomphle: Increases all allies' Attack
Kabuff: Increases all allies' Defense
Act Twice

Notso Macho

Regular Attack
Kacrackle Slash: Deals ice damage to a single target
Sleep Attack: Deals damage to a single target and puts it to sleep

Use Physical Attacks

Every time Claudio uses either Oomphle or Kabuff, his talent, Bigger Upper gets activated. This talent grants one of the following effects: reflects spell damage, reflects breath damage, nullifies damage, or increases evasion.

The spell reflection and breath reflection are the ones you need to watch out for; it's best to just avoid using spell and breath skills when fighting this boss.

Prioritize Defeating the Notso Machos

In this boss battle, prioritize defeating Claudio's companions, the two Notso Machos with him. They will fall down faster, and it's dangerous to keep them alive because of the buffs that Claudio gives them.

These Notso Machos are weak to the Ice element. The skill Kacrackle Slash is an ice attack that deals physical damage, so it's not going to be affected by the reflection buffs that Claudio gives.

Be Prepared Against Confusion and Sleep Status

DQM3 -
Your monster will receive a lot of status in this battle, since Claudio has Fuddle Dance to confuse your whole party, while the Notso Machos have Sleep Attack to make a party member fall asleep.

Carry a lot of Smelling Salts, an item that cures both confusion and sleep. You can also consider having a monster with a high confusion resistance and the skill Defuddle, which cures all allies of confusion.
