Have an Agility of Over 1300 in Late Game

Required Talents Storm Chaser
Agility Booster 4
Agility Booster 3

To reliably defeat Metal King Slimes without letting them escape, include a Liquid Metal Slime with an agility of 1300 or more. The speed of monsters varies depending on the map they appear on and their size, but you'll almost always have the advantage if you have a Liquid Metal Slime with an agility that exceeds 1300, even the fastest L size Metal King Slime.

Repeat the Combination And Aim for an Initial Agility of Around 500.

Liquid Metal Slime ImageLiquid Metal Slime stats at Lv1:

・If 100 points are not allocated to Agility 3 and 4 → about 400 or more
・If 100 points are allocated to Agility 3 and 4 → about 530 or more
Then, at Lv.100, the speed will be over 1300.
*Small individuals are recommended because the smaller the size, the faster it will be.

To make a Liquid Slime Metal with a speed of 1300 or more, the standard is to have the initial speed be around 500 at Lv.1 at the time of synthesis (points are allocated to agility 3 and 4, and it varies depending on the size).

Metal King Slime Scouting Tips

  1. Easier to Scout if Attack or Wisdom is Over 500
  2. Restart Battles by Saving and Loading
  3. Scout Rate Increases With Overkilling Machine

Easier to Scout if Attack or Wisdom is Over 500

Metal King Slimes have a high defense, so the success rate of scouting is very low. However, we have found that the scouting success rate starts to increase if you have monsters with attack or wisdom over 500.

If you don't have enough attack and wisdom stats, use skills such as Oomph or Ping.

Restart Battles By Saving and Loading

If you want to scout a Metal King Slime, be sure to save before the battle just like when you want to defeat it. If it runs away, you can reload the save and start over.

Scout Rate Increases With Overkilling Machine

For Metal King Slimes, scouting them with an Overkilling Machine will have a higher scouting rate.

How to Spawn More Metal King Slime During Battle

Bring Metal King Slime to an Area With No Monsters

To spawn more metal monsters, bring the Metal King Slime to an area where there are no other monsters around before entering the battle. This is because if there are other monsters nearby, the number of Metal King Slimes that appear will decrease as the surrounding monsters will join the Metal King Slime's formation when a battle begins.

Defeat Surrounding Monsters First

If there are other monsters near the metal monster and you can't get enough distance even after chasing them, you can start the battle after dealing with the other monsters that are in the way. When fighting other monsters, metal monsters will disappear once the battle is over. But if you move away from them and wait a few seconds, they will respawn.

Something that I noticed about all these guides is that people neglect to mention the power of Withering Look, an ability that comes with several monsters like A3G15 through the talent Destroyer. Withering Look absolutely obliterates metal king slimes if your wisdom is high enough.
