If Psaro is standing in or above water, the game will remain in the current season until Psaro touches the nearest shore.
While the video only depicts a short amount of time, this phenomenon has been observed to last indefinitely.
There is an audible difference between Psaro's reactions when opening chests that contain better items compared to chests that contain common items.
Examining the torch on the left side of the bookshelf, behind the Altar of Amalgamation, will reveal a secret passage.
Revealing this secret passage will prompt Monty to award the player with a Mini Medal.

Metal Slimes of all kinds are significantly slower in Dragon Quest Monsters 3 compared to their previous iterations in older titles.
Older versions of these Slimes will have them vanishing almost instantly once they spot the player, but here, they will run away at a reasonable pace and will only despawn once chased too far out of their original spawning point.
Once players acquire and use “Secret of Evolution” as part of the game's story, Psaro will obtain the ability to understand animals.
This means Psaro can now have conversations with the various cats and horses located around Rosehill.
On the left side of the Throne Room within the final dungeon is a set of purple doors that are slightly ajar.
These doors have been confirmed to be part of the game's DLC, as there are only 526 collectible monsters in this game, which seems a little small compared to Iruka SP.
Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince exists as an alternate reality to a previous game, Dragon Quest 4.
In DQM3, we get to see the story from Psaro's perspective if some of the outcomes turned out slightly different.

You can quickly reach the Altar of Amalgamation by jumping over the railings and falling to the bottom floor.
Zoom makes a comeback in Dragon Quest Monsters 3, but unlike older titles, Zoom can be used anywhere.
This means Psaro won't be bumping his head on any ceilings when standing indoors or in caves, with the exception of not being able to use Zoom during certain parts of the story.
Monsters who have turned hostile against Psaro will stop chasing him the moment he begins to climb any ladders or ivy vines, so use this to your advantage when you're trying to avoid monster encounters.
By eliminating the unwanted monster species near your target monster, you can increase the chances of multiple spawns of your target monster during your upcoming encounter.
For example, killing all the other monsters near a Metal King Slime will increase the chances fighting multiple Metal King Slimes once you begin your battle encounter.
You can kill Metal Slimes with Spells by lowering their resistances to specific elemental types.
By stacking resistance lowering effects from multiple sources, you can lower a Metal Slime's resistance enough for elemental damage to penetrate their defenses.

Successfully adding a total of 300 monster entires to the Monsterpedia will result in the acquisition of the rare monster Fizzy.
Once you've added 300 monsters to the Monsterpedia, speak to Fizzy on the first floor to trigger an event that awards the player with the rare monster Fizzy.
Monsters that you have failed to scout can still be acquired if you've fed them enough meat.
By feeding monsters meat, you increase the chances of them joining your party after defeating them, meaning that failing to scout the monster you want doesn't always have to end with you empty handed.
After completing the main campaign, you can access a post-game dungeon where you can farm for some of the best Certificates in the game.
By defeating the 4th Secret Boss after having completed the main story, players can dramatically increasing the spawning rate of Metal Slimes.
If you're looking to participate in Online Battles, or are just looking to farm Metal Slimes, we highly recommend defeating the 4th Secret Boss first.
