When leveling up in the early game, we recommend using a monsters that have area-of-effect (AOE) special skills such as Flame Breath and Boom to quickly wipe out low level enemies in one hit.
In particular, we recommended getting Raptile, which is easy to synthesize and has Shallow Breather as a unique skill, and Jargon, which has Blazer.

When you reach the middle echelon levels in the midgame, metal monsters will start appearing in the areas at a low probability.
To level up fast in the midgame, you'll want to be hunting down Metal Slimes and its variations, like the Liquid Metal Slime.
To do so, just like the early game farming method, explore the map with monsters that have strong AOE attacks to clear all the regular enemies quickly. The EXP you'll gain will increase as you progress through the map.

Once you have zoomed to the Hopeful Haven, turn around and head north towards Rosehill Tower, located at Point 1 in the map above.

After warping to the shrine, go straight ahead north towards Point 3 in the map, a little beyond the poisonous swamp. This is the last point in the Circle of Conquest, Upper Echelon to check.
To reset the Metal Slimes, you need to travel to another area and come back. We recommend going to the Cubic Quarry at the Circle of Temper, Upper Echelon, since there are a few spots here that can be quickly checked for metal slimes.

After warping to the quarry, turn around and go west, straight down the cliff to get to Point 4. Be careful from hitting other monsters on your way to avoid losing time.

Next, head east to the direction of the Dragonspate to check Point 5 above the bones. This is the last point to check for King Metal Slime spots.
You can now go back to Step 1 and repeat the same process. Remember, the King Metal Slimes are not guaranteed and it might take a long while for you to find one.
Make sure that you have the items and accessories that increase experience points gained for more efficiency in farming EXP.
How to Increase EXP Gain |
---|
|
The Bonus Ball and Bumper Bonus Ball items are useful for earning XP. Bonus Ball has the effect of increase EXP and gold gained by 1.5 times for 10 battles, while the Bumper Bonus Battle is a better and rarer version that doubles (2x) the EXP and gold for 25 battles.
These items can be obtained as rewards in the fighting arena, treasure chests around the game world, and from preorder bonuses and DLCs
There are accessories in the game that can increase EXP gain when equipped. It's possible to gain up to 1.5x EXP from the best EXP gain accessory.
Accessories | Effect and How to Obtain |
---|---|
Cupcake Cane | Effects: 1.1x EXP gain, small gold increase, small item % increase How to Obtain: Obtained during the story in the Circle of Indulgence, Middle Echelon |
Trainee's Badge | Effects: 1.3 EXP gain How to Obtain: Win the Maulosseum B Class |
Trainee's Medal | Effects: 1.5x EXP gain How to Obtain: Win the Maulosseum S Class |
While there are multiple accessories that increase EXP gain, these effects don't overlap; only the accessory with the highest multiplier will get counted in the calculations.
For example, if you have the Trainee's Medal and Trainee's Badge equipped, only the Trainee's Medal's 1.5x EXP gain effect will count.
When you use a Bonus Ball and an accessory, the effects will stack! To calculate, simply add the multipliers.
The maximum effect you can get is having the Bumper Bonus Ball effect of 2x used together with the Training Medallion effect of 1.5x, giving a total of 3.5x EXP gained!
