Once you have spent your Talent Points, they cannot be refunded or realllocated to another talent. Be careful spending your points, especially during the early game since it is difficult to get them.
Technically, you can reallocate talent points through synthesis since the points in a talent are halved during synthesis, and can be used for a different talent in the new monster.
Monsters you use to synthesize a new monster cannot be returned and will disappear. The game will also auto-save right after synthesis, but you can avoid this by turning off the auto-save feature in the settings so that you can manually save and reload.
Synthesis Guide and Calculator
Once you have matched with an NPC, you cannot match with them again afterwards. You can only matchmake with the same NPC once, so be aware of the monster you will synthesize with them.
Matchmaking Guide and Locations
Story cutscenes and dialogue cannot be rewatched or replayed later. This means you will have to replay the game again, or watch gameplay footage online, if you want to see them again.
The very first monster you get in the game from Monty can be obtained again using a specific formula while synthesizing. Check the link below to use a synthesis calculator.
