Strong Enemies are hard-to-scout monsters that are much more powerful than regular monsters. They will often be extremely overlevelled when you first meet them, making them all the more difficult to defeat in batle.
The first Strong Enemy you can face is the Cyclops. While you cannot scout it in the demo, it is fully up for grabs in the full release of the game.
How to Increase Chances of Scouting After Defeating Monsters
All Strong Enemies will appear L-Sized. It will have a few differences from the typical variant, making it a good consideration for a powerful ally.
Monster Size: Differences and Benefits of Monster Sizes
Unlike other boss-type enemies that you can only battle once, strong enemies will respawn even after you defeat it. This allows you to use the strong enemy as a way to level up your monsters, to farm their drops, or even retry scouting them a second or third time.
