This is a guide to changing the protagonist's costume in Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince (DQM3). Learn about which costumes you can change into and how these costumes are obtained.
You can change your costumes by accessing your Items menu and looking for them on the tab furthest to the right (with a star icon).
Once there, simply choose any one of the costumes to equip! Then check in the overworld if the protagonist is wearing it.

The Burgundy Gothic Vestment is obtainable through purchasing the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game.
Buying either editions will also give you access to the three (3) additional DLCs and their respective costumes, a good deal completing your wardrobe!

Each costume gives no effect, meaning that they are purely cosmetic. No advanatge such as boost to monster stats or skills will be made when wearing different costumes.
These costumes are purely for aesthetic and immersion purposes. If you feel like sporting a new look, go try them out!
