Select from Items Menu

Dragon Quest Monsters The Dark Prince - DLC Outfit Menu

You can change your costumes by accessing your Items menu and looking for them on the tab furthest to the right (with a star icon).

Once there, simply choose any one of the costumes to equip! Then check in the overworld if the protagonist is wearing it.
